We provided QUARTZ series QZI1.9 and QZI2.6 indoor rental LED screens for an LED studio project in Thailand in 2023. These LED displays, with pixel pitches of 1.95mm and 2.6mm respectively, formed a functional setup to support the studio’s operations, leveraging practical design features to fit the space’s needs.

The project featured three large screens in total. The central screen, measuring 4.2X2.36 meters, utilized the VX10 control system. Flanking it were two screens, each sized 1X2 meters, operated by the X4e control system. All screens were constructed with 500X500mm cabinets, and their quick installation design—thanks to fast lock and cabinet magnet features—allowed for straightforward assembly and alignment within the studio space, saving time during setup.

The QZI1.9 model, with its 1.95mm pixel pitch, incorporated GOB (Glue on Board) technology. This technology helps protect the LED components, while the screen’s protect corner and anti-knock design further safeguards the LED lamps from accidental bumps—useful for the consistent demands of studio environments where reliable operation is key. The finer pixel pitch of the QZI1.9 makes it suitable for displaying detailed content, such as close-up shots or text-heavy visuals, ensuring clarity even when viewed from shorter distances.

The QZI2.6, with a 2.6mm pixel pitch, offers a practical balance between detail and coverage. It works well for broader visuals, such as wide shots or background elements, complementing the QZI1.9’s capabilities. Both models include a climbing function, allowing technicians to access the back of the screens easily without needing extra ladders—simplifying maintenance and adjustments during studio sessions.

Adding to their versatility, these screens support three uses: rental, fixed installation, and floor applications, making them adaptable beyond the studio setup. The radian lock design also enables convex and concave curved screen configurations, though for this project, the straight setup of the three screens proved ideal for this studio’s layout.

The modular 500X500mm cabinet design, paired with the quick installation features, simplified the entire process, allowing the three screens to be set up efficiently. The use of separate control systems (VX10 for the central screen and X4e for the side screens) ensured each display could be operated independently, adding flexibility to how content is managed during studio sessions.

Our team supported the project with installation and basic setup, ensuring the screens integrated smoothly into the studio’s existing systems. For the Thailand studio, the combination of QZI1.9 and QZI2.6 screens, with their practical features, has proven to be a reliable solution, meeting the daily operational needs without unnecessary complexity.
